IT Operations Specialist Package

In order to receive CompTIA A+ certification a candidate must pass two exams. The first exam is CompTIA A+ 220-1001 Certification Exam and the second exam is CompTIA A+ 220-1002. These exams measures necessary competencies for an entry-level IT professional with the equivalent knowledge of at least 12 months of hands-on experience in the lab or field. Successful candidates will have the knowledge required to: • Assemble components based on customer requirements • Install, configure and maintain devices, PCs and software for end users • Understand the basics of networking and security/forensics • Properly and safely diagnose, resolve and document common hardware and software issues • Apply troubleshooting skills • Provide appropriate customer support • Understand the basics of virtualization, desktop imaging, and deployment

The CompTIA N+ (Network+) certification is the sign of a competent networking professional. It is an international, vendor-neutral certification that proves a technician’s competency in managing, maintaining, troubleshooting, installing and configuring basic network infrastructure. Although not a prerequisite, it is recommended that CompTIA N+ candidates have at least nine months of experience in network support or administration or academic training, along with a CompTIA A+ certification.
